Hei hei! I'm Laia, an Arctic Nature Guide, Nature & Conservation Photographer, Biologist and Biotechnologist based between Svalbard and Catalunya.

Growing up surrounded by nature and mountains ignited my passion for exploring the world and its incredible biodiversity. This curiosity has taken me to some of the planet's most remote and fascinating locations, including the rainforest in Peru, the tundra in Northern Finland, and Svalbard. Whether it's +40ºC or -40ºC, you’ll find me exploring, guiding, or photographing the natural world.

My photography journey has primarily focused on topside photography, but my fascination for the underwater world continues to grow.
Through my images, I strive to reconnect people with nature and inspire more individuals to join efforts in its preservation. Sharing the breathtaking beauty of our planet with those who may not have the chance to experience it firsthand is one of my goals.

I love sharing the wonders of the Arctic with others.

As a proud Girls Who Click Ambassador, I support their mission to inspire and empower young female-identified and non-binary individuals interested in nature photography.

This website also wants to show my Catalan heritage. Therefore you'll find it available in Catalan, my mother tongue, to make it accessible to those back home and to honor our beautiful language. Of course, it’s available in English as well!

When it comes to gear, I shoot with a Canon 5D Mark IV, capturing moments that tell the story of our planet's fragile ecosystems.
